Channel points can be used in a variety of ways.
For example, one use is to grant VIPs to viewers. Things like this that require the distributor to take action should be displayed in the activity feed.
On the other hand, there are cases where the distributor does not need to take any action, such as displaying graphic effects on the live stream screen or playing a sound that enhances the live stream. We do not want these to appear in the activity feed so that we do not miss important notifications.チャンネルポイントは様々な使い道があります。
例えば、視聴者にVIPを付与するという使い方があります。このように配信者が行動をしなければならないものはアクティビティフィードに表示してほしいです。
一方で、ライブストリーム画面ににグラフィックエフェクトを表示したりライブストリームを盛り上げるサウンドを流すなどは配信者が何かしらの行動を起こさなくてもいい場合があります。重要な通知を見逃さないためにもこれらはアクティビティーフィードに表示してほしくありません。ハルノキ

日本では公務員や特定の職業で収益を受け取ることができなかったり、税務上の理由でアフェリエイターになることができないストリーマー達がいます。
その様な境遇の彼らもスタンプ(emote)やチャンネルポイントシステムを使いたいと願っています。
もし、自動的に全ての利益を慈善団体に寄付することができるのならば彼らもアフェリエイターになることができるのではないでしょうか。
このアイディアはTwitchに直接的な利益をもたらすことはないかもしれません。
しかし、日本においてライブストリームといえば別のプラットフォームの名前が出る中で、素晴らしい慈善事業をしていると知れ渡ればTwitchに興味を持つ人も増える事でしょう。
