Bots following by thousands during stream Hi,
I have just finished my stream because I got "attacked" by bots suddenly following me, I had 700 followers and only within 10 minutes I got to 2000 followers, I got scared and closed my stream and managed to eliminate the bot accounts, however I am writing to let you know and if is there anything else that I can do to prevent this situation from happening again. use notice for bots or for all users use notice for bots or for all users, it would not be bad, because sometimes people triggers a bot and thereby flood the chat, adding standard functionality IRC would fix this problem, and it would add to bots more opportunities to notify users of something without showing the rest any messages

Follows de bots Llevo ya tres días recibiendo ataques de bots, es necesario alguna herramienta para bloquear este tipo de ataques, es frustrante no poder hacer nada, además de enviarme bots están usurpando nicks cambiando letras como la L por la i para crear confusión y no poder denunciar a los causantes y hacerlo aun mas dificil todo.

I am sorry to hear you have been struggling with bot attacks. I wanted to address the portion of your feedback regarding not having an ability to report them. To report bots, click on the "⋮" icon below the channel and select "Report Live Stream". When you select reason as "Search" and hit "Next" a text box will appear that will allow you to look for a relevant suggestion such as Bots to make your report. Please feel free to include multiple usernames in the report, to reduce the hassle of creating individual reports for a number of bots. Thanks!

Bots need to stop I got botted by 200 bots today and had a face cam on at the time. Am i safe to keep streaming or do i need to stop? I would also love a way to stop it from happening.

Followers and Bots Hi Twitch, this is my only way in reaching you as the problem I'm having has no solution, I keep randomly getting people following me even when im offline and their all really shady accounts, streaming crypto and fortnite and im getting scared if they're bots and all because i donr want to get banned?!

View bots How about you do your job and handle bots of any kind yourself instead of forcing it upon streamers to do it. They dont exactly have the same tools you do and TBH I think this is just a stupid reason for you to deny streamers affiliate or partner. Its ******** and you know it. also this page is for feedback but you only want solutions to problems not any feedback?! can you be more lazy?? do your job and stop being so greedy.

1 voteTo prevent this, you could enable "Disable Whispers from Strangers" in your Security > Privacy Settings (https://www.twitch.tv/settings/security). This would block any whispers from strangers unless you whisper them first.

bots I have been moderating channels for a year now...I have detected a massive increase of bots accounts, I have even reported accounts that are being bots, under strict supervision, recently and to my misfortune, I discover that the accounts that I am throwing away because they are bots...are back and they are not few. And all of those accounts are related to accounts that I have also monitored...I have proof of this,but I don't know what you did, now those programmed accounts are back again.
