Creator Emote Drops
Creator Badge Drops are great, but I’d love an equivalent feature for custom emotes. Creators should be able to upload a limited-time emote, set an earning requirement such as watch time or gifted subs, and allow viewers who earn it during the event to permanently keep that emote in their Twitch inventory for use across Twitch.
Example: During October, I could create a Halloween-themed emote available only that month. Viewers who watch 5 hours during October unlock it permanently. After October ends, the emote can no longer be earned, making it a collectible that rewards long-term community participation.
Twitch already supports this type of collectible emote through special Twitch-run campaigns, so giving creators a self-service version similar to Creator Badge Drops would be a great way to reward loyal viewers without using permanent subscriber emote slots.
