Prevent streamers from giving you public badges like VIP, mod
Give us a control that prevents us from getting new roles added. If I want to only be a viewer, just like anyone else, no one should be able to change that without my permission. I've had this come up a number of times and it is not comfortable.
Viewers can already control their badges for bits and subs and hype train conductor, among other things, but if the streamer gives them a VIP diamond, it gets complicated. If you didn't want that badge, you then have to ask to have your badge taken off or wait to have it removed. Streamers receive that feedback a bunch of different ways, not all of them take it well.
It gets more complicated if a streamer gives you a mod sword and you don't want to be identified as a mod. This can be for many reasons, such as you don't have availability, and you don't have interest in mod duties, etc. Some folks just want to be a viewer and not have to juggle multiple relationships and expectations. Again, streamers receive that feedback a bunch of different ways, not all of them take it well.

@OwlyPop in case you weren't aware you can type /unmod and /unvip in a channel to remove these roles! I understand a blanket permission option would be better but in the meantime you can get rid of them if you want :)
