Recently, a streamer I follow had a few of their emotes removed without warning, some of their most popular emotes. Twitch Support couldn't give them a straight answer as to why. These emotes were approved by Twitch staff since they didn't have instant emote approval when they were made, but they got removed after months and months AND the streamer's instant approval privileges got revoked. They just got the email saying their emotes were removed. They were deemed "sexual," (even though they aren't sexual, and there are much worse emotes out there), and they couldn't challenge the moderation - emailing back only got the message that they can't talk about the reasons moderator staff's actions.

These emotes were subscription rewards for the streamer, and they even drew them themselves. They got punished without a clear reason from moderation, and their rewards were removed.

Twitch should need to cite rules and give clear reasons why a creator's content gets removed. There should not be a run-around of emails and messages that don't actually tell people why, and streamers should not be punished if rules cannot be cited. This transparency and good will between creators and moderators is necessary to run a quality platform.
