Removing Bit Emotes
In a perfect world, everyone would be friends and get along. However for various reasons people sometimes leave communities they have earned bit emotes in. Then the bit emotes remain forever as a constant reminder. People should have the ability to remove bit emotes from certain streamers.

So I have few bits badges from people I no longer support as they turned out to be pretty toxic, and their just still there in my emotes section when I go to use emotes. My idea is to be able to remove this, that way I no longer have to be able to see those anymore I don't want to see the badges of people who I use to think who was cool.

I’ve been saying this since bit emotes were made a thing. I have a bit emote from someone I now want *nothing* to do with, but it’s always just there, at the top of my emote menu, and I can’t do anything about it. I even have the person blocked on Twitch.
Also because I know of situations where a streamer was abusive, and there’s no way for the victims to hide this reminder.
Or just generally, people fall out/relationships break down.It could even be a toggle on/off if you just need to distance yourself for a bit.
But it’s a huge issue and absolutely needs to be addressed.

When I donated bits to a streamer I got an emote. But I don't want to have this emote in my selection.
Can't you add the possibility to hide certain emote or streamer?
It's a bit annoying to see an emote all the time even though you don't watch the streamer anymore. -

RE: one of these people is from real life and were abusive so its a great reminder of that every time i see their emote. Twitch do something about this please

I have some people that became toxic blocked on twitch and yet i still have to see their emotes on my emote menu. I cant find a way to remove them and its extremely annoying to constantly be reminded of bad people.

Honestly, this is unacceptable. I'm lucky enough that the reason I want to remove a bit emote was only a falling out with a streamer. I can't imagine what it's like for people who have been abused or harassed to have to see those whenever they want to react in a stream.
At least give us the option to hide them!

I have emotes from people I've blocked but they stay on my account. Certain users use this as a way to taunt me and I can't remove them from my emote library.

I heavily support this idea and have been wanting it for weeks now. You should have an option in your settings to hide bits emotes from specific channels from your active emotes. Like every person who commented, I used to support communities I did not know were toxic and now I have a bunch of emotes for channels that I do not support. I do not wish to see their names every time I open emotes to use in somebody's stream. It's a really big turn off and it seems like an easy enough fix. I don't believe that removal is entirely necessary so people don't remove their bits emotes in a fit and then demand them back later. Much like a banned users list, hiding the emotes will bring users peace of mind while they don't have to look at the names anymore on a regular basis.

Agreed. These are pretty dumb and should disappear when you cease to follow a person, why would I want their emotes now that we have nothing in common.

Yes please.

It's disgusting to look at someones face that doesn't care about you everytime you open emote panel just cuz you donated bits to that stream in the past and now you're not part of the community.

I no longer follow a channel due to personal reasons. I'd like to be able to remove any and all emotes I've accrued over donations, can we get a feature on Mobile/desktop to remove said emotes from our emote picker?

I blocked a user that I don't want to see any trace of, though their emotes are viewable on other streaming channels when someone uses them. Their emotes are a reminder of what they did to me and I just want to move on.
please help. :(
