Please allow us to opt-out of events that gift emotes when another user takes an action. Many of the recent events (e.g. HyperScape, K-Pop, Hispanic Heritage Month, etc.) have emotes that I don't want or find offensive, but I have no choice on whether they're added to my emote list when another user subs or cheers.

I suggest a tick box on the pop-up that appears over a stream to let you know about a new event that lets you choose to not receive any of the event's emotes. Alternatively or in addition, a section of the settings that has options for the current event. This section should also include a way to hide or permanently remove emotes from your emote list by or within an event category (e.g. HyperScapeEmotes, StreamWithPride, etc.) or individual emotes within the Unlocked and Global categories. Emotes that are removed or hidden should not be accessible by auto-complete. Removal of emotes should also allow simple feedback on the reason--offensive, unwanted, etc.

While this suggestion isn't intended to just let people cull their emote list to a reasonable size, it would also function for that purpose. Twitch may also be able to collect data on which emotes are found offensive or unwanted by a significant portion of their userbase, and perhaps make better decisions on future emotes as well as remove emotes that generate too much negative feedback.

Yes this, I am not sure why more people are not actively talking about this. I have people I have blocked on all social media in my emote menu from bits I donated YEARS ago. It is causing me anxiety to be reminded of these toxic people still.

I have some wishes about emote packs.

Opportunity to remove and hide stickers packs.
- To remove unwanted packs like "Hyperscale", "pride", etc. - personally I don't use/like them, but they take even more place on my emotes list. Or in THIS case to add one more button to settings: deny gifted emotes [or how it's called?].
- To hide channels' packs: not all channels have really good qualited emotes, so, getting sub I'd love to hide their emotes.

Being able to hide or delete unlocked or global emotes.
When using :hype, to open the emotes list and choose a Hype emote from my favourite streamers, all the list is occupied by Hypetrain and now Hyper emote that I will never use.
Some of the streamers' hype emotes are not even appearing on the list anymore..

I would like to see for the twitch viewer to be able to organize the twitch emotes you have acquired.
Number one feature I would like to see is the ability to hide a group or section of certain emotes that you don't use when you go to select an emote from the emote menu.
For example I would like to hide the option to choose the global emotes. I would also like to hide individual emotes.
Or have the ability to chose your most used emotes instead of it being automatically curated for you. I'm glad that twitch has implemented categories for emotes, especially with all the special events that twitch has implemented to obtain unique emotes (which I love).
Just would love to see more ability to organize emotes for the twitch viewer.

A huge yes please to this. There's at least one streamer whose emotes I definitely don't want, makes me a little upset to see them there every time I go through the list

On mobile, the emote section can get very cluttered with all of the earned emotes. It would be nice to be able to toggle emotes on and off. Thank you!

An addition to this, it would be nice to be able to disable emotes by channel so that even if you are gifted a sub to the channel, the emotes do not appear.

I also feel like since there are so many emote rewards, it would be nice to be able to enable/disable emotes we do not necessarily use.

And yes, there are a lot of bit emotes I have that are from communities I will never go back to. I have no interest in having their emotes.

Allowing users to remove a bit earned emote would be helpful. There are many people who have had good relationships in the past with a streamer who may have hurt them or had the relationship go sour and then having to look at their emotes still in their emote list make it bring back negative memories.

I'm not a big fan of Global Emotes personally, instead, I focus on friends and their emotes across Twitch. I'd like to have the option to HIDE Global Emotes since I don't use them, but others do. So it offers options, rather than being forced to remove/hide anything from anyone who doesn't want it.

Yes please! I really hate opening my emote panel and seeing the bit emotes from a toxic/negative streamer right at the top of the list. It's a big slap in the face in the healing process.

100% agree with this, it's super important for people's mental wellbeing to have the option to remove any emotes. Otherwise, it's just a slap in the face every time you open up the emote list. Cmon twitch.

Yes please. I don't want to see or use bit emotes rewards from someone that was abusive to me on Twitch or someone I choose not to support their stream/community anymore.

This is important as after giving bits to someone who you no longer support, having their bit emote in your list can becomes a mental distress to constantly see. Especially if it was someone you may have had a bad interaction with prior.

Removing them completely would be preferable, but if they end up only hiding them it's important that it also carries through to the mobile apps.

I have some emotes from crates that I don't want , there should be an option to remove or hide them from the emote menu at least. thanks
