Artist Credit, More Info, and Animated Gifs For Emotes
When hovering over an emote in chat I would love to see listed information for the artist it was created by and their social media/ contact info.
For that info to be easily clicked on to open new tabs to their Twitch channel and to their art social media/ contact info.
Also showing the emote at the largest size to see the emote's art more clearly, the emote's name, and the streamer's channel that it is uploaded to with that being clickable opening a new tab there.
I feel that emotes are a large part of Twitch and it's difficult to find the artists that put in the work making them, so they deserve more credit and promotion.
We've been using external extensions like BTTV for years for the option to have community shared emotes and animated gif emotes in chat that have become a big part of Twitch's culture with emotes like with SourPls.
It would be great to have some global animated gif emotes and to be able to add the option to upload animated gifs for sub emotes for channels to be able to have all animated gif emotes if they wanted.
Hey all! Happy to announce that we have launched the Artist Badge and Emote Attribution feature. This will accredit emote artists through emotes in chat, as well as a chat badge the creator can assign to their emote artist.
You can learn more about this feature as well as leave us suggestions here: https://link.twitch.tv/UVAttribution
Thank you for your continued feedback!

Pretty self explanatory, really. I feel we as emote artists should have optional access to the work we provide for streamers via commissions. What better way than to allow streamers to manually link an emote artists channel to the respective emotes drawn from them. That way the emotes can be enjoyed regardless of Tier.

1. Give streamers the ability to assign an ''emote artist'' badge to their emote artists. (could even be a general channel-artist badge, for any type of graphic work they've done for said channel).
2. When people hover over emotes in the channel's chat have it show the twitch username of the artist that made the emote. (This could be an option when uploading the emote, have a field that let's you tag the artist)

For example: When you move your cursor onto an emote, it shows the name of the emote and the Channel where the emote is from. I was wondering if you can add an option where the Channel owner can also add the artist's name under the emotes when they submit it. So it would have emote name, Channel Name and Artist's channel name or just name. I just thought it would help give some of credits to the artists. Thanks
