Since 2020, creators have been consistently asking for the ability to manage, remove, or disable Founder Badges.

In my case, one of my very first subscribers was an individual who harassed me across my social media. Because there is currently no native tool to revoke or hide a Founder Badge, the only workaround available was manually shifting badges to other subscribers. Creators should never have to jump through hoops just to disassociate their channel from someone who makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Every creator's situation is different, and forcing badges to remain visible or active without channel-level moderation controls creates unnecessary distress. A straightforward toggle to revoke, disable, or manage who displays a Founder Badge on our channels is long overdue.

Please prioritize this update for creator safety and peace of mind. Thank you.

This is a helpful discussion for Twitch creators who want more control over how their channels look and feel. Founder Badges are a nice way to recognize early supporters, but giving streamers the option to disable them could offer more flexibility for different community styles. I think small customization features like this can make a real difference to the overall streaming experience. Outside Twitch, I also enjoy exploring other entertainment options during my free time. YES! I don't like the founders badge. I paid to have custom sub badges, but my only viewers have the founders one so I never get to see my sub badge get used. Let us streamers toggle it off.

this is about the founders thing I find everything myself I am a founder and I'm also a member of the American society of composers authors and publishers so I would just had some feedback on being founded when indeed some people find themselves and have no founders

I agree with this, however I think twitch should also allow gifted subs to have founders badges especially for smaller streamers cause like what if someone is a small streamer but gives out subs as a prize, they deserve a founders badge

Nice

comcordo com tudo que foi dito acima os poucos inscritos que tenho as vezes se estressa por nao usar o distitivo personalizado e acaba nem se escrevendomais por causa do emplema de fundador

As the steamer i should be able to remove or revoke this badge and let it go to whoever is next in queue

I want to also have the opportunity to choose between the Founder and the offical logo of the Streamer I'am subscribed to.
For example, I am a Founder in ... Stream but I want to see the Icon of the Sub-Badge from the Streamer.

Yes pls or let us choose the icon. thx you.

Founder badges should never be disabled, they very clearly show who came through and who decided to show their belief to the world. I'm looking forward to the day I realise one of my extended ambitions and my 11th to 25th founders remember the level of heat I had back when I first started and the flame I began to control when I reached Twitch Affiliate 2 years after. Now? It's time to fuel up and breathe oxygen, then simply flow <3

I want to disable the founder emblems of my channel, it does not go with the aesthetics of the channels.

I want the option to disable the founder's badge on my channel

Por favor, gaste dinero realizando unos emblemas cool y mi canal es pequeño, mis subscritores no pueden visualizar los emblemas bonitos que se hicieron para ellos

PLEASE let us turn this off.

Please let us turn it off!

Can we get any transparency on why the decision was made not to implement this? Just for full disclosure amongst the community.

I would like to get rid of this also. It creates a hierarchy in chat and I'd like to keep it even with everyone.
