I definitely think that we should be able to customize the founder badge! It would help with the overall theme of the channels.

Icon customization is necessary! I was disappointed when, instead of the beautiful streamer icon, I saw a standard “one”.

Or give subscribers the opportunity to manually choose to display the icon: the founder or the one that is given for a certain number of months of subscription.

In my opinion ESPEACIALLY the founders badge should be customizable. They were the first people who ever supported a streamer. It would be so cool if you could make a REALLY custom badge for them.

Streamers should be able to make a very special badge for their founders rather than having that somewhat boring one twitch offers. Founders should have a badge that the streamer really identifies with.

I don't get how this easy thing is not a thing. Granted, it's not that many founders on any channel that are really active, but even more so that deserves a custom reward when someone is.

A streamer I mod for recently cleaned up her founders and I was in a position to get a founders badge. At the same time she introduced new custom badges for subscribers.

I can't just deactivate the founders badge because it would make her sad as one of her goals was actually to give that to me at some point and she finally managed it. I appreciate it but I'd rather have an awesome custom badge which identifies with the streamer instead of Twitch itself. Honestly, like this, it feels less special than having a badge for having subbed for years.

PLEASE, let streamers finally add custom founder badges. We don't need any for years of subscribers there, just one, ONE.

Also to add on to that it would be pretty cool to have different ones for different milestones for founders, so for example you could make stylized versions of your sub badges for founders, and that way they can display how long they've been subbed without having to disable the founders badge entirely

I like this idea since it would allow founders to have a special version of the themed sub-badges a channel has, making them special. The generic 1st-badge isn't in the same style as the channel's sub-badges and therefore doesn't look like a subscription. Plus it's not hard for a user to check what this custom 1st-badge is.

@TrueTrouble in that case, let the user have the option between:

- Using the generic Twitch 1st-badge
- Using the custom 1st-badge
- Using the standard sub-badges like non-founders have

This setting should preferably be per channel and not a global setting.

I personally don't support this. The 1st Badge is a symbol known throughout Twitch. If you see that 1st badge on someone chatting in a stream that has a huge following that has grown for years. That is a well known and well earned TROPHY and we all know it.

When will this be a thing?
