6 years later and they still don't have this common sense option.

Please allow people with a founders badge to pick a different sub badge!!

This is ancient, but THIS PLEASE! I have so many people with lower length sub badges that I LOVE, but I can't use anymore. :((((

I'm begging you to do this.

Was just about to post this same suggestion, crazy it's been here so long!

Allowing subscribers to choose their badge from the unlocked set will 100% result in more variety for community badges, and allow badges to feel more like a collection and less like a hierarchy.

It's claimed by some of my viewers.

Subs Badge can be chosen by the subscribers, and seen on all channels he's chatting, with to represent his "preferred" streamer.

This would be really nice to be able to do if you have a favourite badge. It'd still say what your current months are when hovered over.

Allow the option with channels that have multiple subscription badges (1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, etc) to pick and choose which one you wish to be displayed. Example: 9 month subscriber will allow you to choose any of the prior subscriber badges previously obtained while maintaining the ability to hover mouse over sub badge to view how long someone has been subbed for.

Currently there's MANY sub badge tiers, and in most cases streamers are forced to make them look like some sort of "progression" because they change as the sub changes. This often results in a large portion of chat (the longtime subs) all having the one same "final" badge.

The idea here is to remove that uniformity and no longer force creators to make their badges progression-based. Simply add a per-channel badge selector for subscribed channels that allows the user to select from all badges earned up to that point.

I would like it if I could choose my sub badge by myself. Let's say I've been a sub for 24 months, but I like the 6 month badge more. i cant change it and thats not cool

I find this would be ideal as well, or at least make it so after so long of being subbed or spending a set amount of money on subs be given the option to choose, like for example, you've unlocked the final badge in the series and would like to switch them off and on depending on what you're feeling. I think there's multiple ways to go about this and it would be cool to have that option, preferably not having to spend alot of money to do so but even if you do, at least it's there

Being able to select any unlocked sub-badge would be awesome. The badges I'm working on for my channel would benefit greatly if users were able to select a badge they more closely identify with. Hope this gets implemented one day.

For example: After cheering 1000 bits, a user has the option to show a 1 bit, 100 bits or 1000 bits badge.

Similarly, if possible, it would be great if something similar could be done with sub badges. This would mainly be for color-matching purposes with other badges and/or the nick color.

The hover-over could still show the total amount of subbed months as it does now.

As for the customization menu: this could possibly be combined with other suggestions to allow people to choose to show their Founder badge, on a per-channel basis.

This idea was actually brought up by a streamer I was watching. He was doing an art stream designing new sub icons for another channel and someone said they wanted to stay a specific sub icon forever because they really enjoyed that icon. So why not allow a sub to choose which icon they present once they have earned a specific icon? Like if I've been a sub for 4 years but really love the 1 year icon why not let me choose to wear the 1 year if I really love that icon?

Let's say that you have been sub to a channel for 5 years and cheered total of 100000 bits.

It would be great to have the ability to choose what badges to use in front of your name from all badges you have unlocked on the channel, for example if you like 2 year sub badge more than 5 year badge you could just change it and same with bits you could use 75000 badge instead of 100000 badge.
