Today at TwitchCon San Diego 2024, during the Creator Camp Live talk with Dan Clancy and Ray, they opened the floor for individuals to ask questions to the CEO. I got the opportunity to go up and ask a question, and wanted to expand upon that thought in the appropriate forum.

My question: "I am a Turbo Subscriber, and one of the reasons I look to subscribe to individual creators is because of their emote selection. Does Twitch have * (plans for future) Turbo exclusive emote slots, or greater expansion (to) emotes ** (and) other items you would gain from subscribing to Turbo?"

Dan Clancy responded and mentioned that Twitch hasn't considered this approach, but have observed creators take an active role in creating incentives to subscribe to Turbo. Also noting that adding additional incentives or rewards for subbing to Turbo was an interesting idea.

I think adding extra incentives would be a compounding opportunity for creators. If people are interested in creative and inspired emotes, that alone might be a discoverability factor. Say all creators are able to create five additional emotes available exclusively to Turbo subscribers. If those emotes are available for preview when subbing to Turbo- not only would everyone benefit from an expanded pool for creative expression, but Turbo subs would have another avenue for discovering new creators! Additionally, implementing this feature wouldn't diminish the already existing collection of emotes. I believe this would increase the chances of a creator making a second impression through their emote selection.
