Disable animated channel avatars
The inclusion of animated channel avatars is honestly excessively stimulating and makes it very difficult to navigate the page. Right now, I have to go digging through genres I never knew existed just to tell Twitch not to recommend to me a channel because it's using a frantically animated avatar that makes it difficult to check my favorites panel.
I would appreciate it if there was an option to either (A) disable animated channel avatars, or (B) disable suggested channels. Either of these ND-friendly options would allow me to use the favorites panel again.

Here is an article that explains some of the impact gifs have on some users, particularly with Epilepsy or other visual sensitivities.

Thanks for submitting this one. This is a showstopper for me. I almost quit Twitch a year ago, when one of the suggested channels had an animated avatar and I spent two hours trying to get it to go away. I eventually figured out I could Block that channel, and it would disappear from my Suggested feed. That allowed me to keep using Twitch, but that is not a tenable long-term solution. Discord has an accessibility feature called "Reduced Motion" that, when enabled, freezes any animated elements in the UI, unless the user hovers that element. That feature is the reason I am still able to use Discord.
