At this last TwitchCon in 2025, there was a SEVERE lack of accessibility. During the MCC event and the award show, there was no ramp provided despite GoodTimesWithScar being there for both things. Despite the fact that he - along with the rest of HermitCraft - won one of those awards. How did no one think to provide a ramp to the stage? That is a severe oversight, and the fact that this isn't the first time either is extremely disappointing.
Please next time provide accessibility.

The amount of disrespect you keep showing Scar is ridiculous.

Completely agree. It makes them look SO BAD, this is a person who has attended several times and just raised a ton of money for charity?? If you can't do the bare minimum that's embarrassing. Enough to make me look up how to leave a comment on these forums.

The fact that Twitch knew an award was going to be given to creators that included a wheelchair bound creator and still chose not to provide accessibility to the stage for goodtimeswithscar is completely unacceptable. It is not that hard to have a ramp. Everyone can use a ramp but wheelchair users cannot use stairs. Not only did this interfere with Scar's ability to fully celebrate the awards won by Hermitcraft and his MCC team, it also interfered with the fans being able to clearly see him. Do better next time twitch

Agree wholeheartedly. Another note to add to in this instance; as he is a known regular participant in this event and he also requires oxygen from time to time and utilises a tank - positioning him on the far end of the stage right next to a loud speaker is appalling. It takes up even more energy for his team and stream to even hear him that he has to shout into his mic for the 2-3ish hour event making him breathless and just causing undue stress overall before the event has even begun.
Whoever is in charge of stage management and logistics needs to be either informed and/or given the tools to be able to provide better accessibility for him and any other disabled streamers so that they are in no more of a disadvantage during a competitive event than any other able-bodied individual.

It was sad to see Scar blatantly excluded from all stage activities, whether it was with all the streamers or the hermits. A wheelchair ramp is not a huge financial undertaking. Likely VASTLY cheaper than just one of the streaming setups. Let's do better with our priorities, twitchcon.

Most if not all twitch cons have had a lack of accommodations for disabilities and disabled people which is very sad and disappointing. This twitch cons has brought much more awareness towards this issue. This is a problem that needs to be addressed in future twitch cons or I can see a lot of viewer and user fall off due to lack of respect for their creators and their basic rights.

Accessibilty is a basic human right.
As a disabled creator myself? I am intensely appalled at the disregard and disrespect given at this event.
We shouldn't have to makes posts for VOTES for you to consider something so basic as an accessability ramp for an awards stage, at a MAJOR event!
Did you have captions available on screens, or ASL interpreters available for those who are Hearing Impaired, or was that not considered either?
This ramp issue should have been handled with consideration by the event coordinators from the get-go and certainly should NOT have happened a second time!
Failing to provide such accommadations when they are needed is a VIOLATION OF ADA LAW.
If an event facility does not have ramps built in? I suggest you invest in a few portable access ramps that can be made available/used at events when needed.

There should be a ramp regardless of whether Scar is there or not.

This has been MULTIPLE times with this streamer, who brings in so many people, and these accommodations are NOT THAT HARD!

This is the second time this is an issue! You would think it would have been immediately addressed after the first time. Once is an oversight, twice a lack of consideration. Do better Twitch

Totally agree, it was sad that due to no ramp Scar was forced to receive awards differently, his whole team had to come in from another way, come on Twitch do better please
