Creators and Stream Features

How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

If you need help:
This forum is for ideas only. If you need help, please check out our help portal for tons of articles that may answer your questions. If you still need help, you can reach out to our support team in the help portal as well!

Appeals or commentary on suspension decisions, support requests, suggestions disparaging others, and non-constructive feedback will be closed without comment.

  1. [Experiment] Persistent Goals

We're currently experimenting with persistent visibility of your sub or follower goal in an effort to encourage viewers to help meet your Creator Goals more quickly.

The goals can be found pinned on your channel page in the About section.

Please note that this experimental goal layout:
    - will only show on the web version of Twitch.
    - is available to 50% of all streamers with access to Creator Goals.

This group was randomly-selected. Like to know if you've been selected? Please follow the link to your Creator Dashboard (https://link.twitch.tv/MyCreatorGoals) and set up a goal today!

    Hey everybody,
This Creator Goals feature is now fully live for everyone. We appreciate your feedback during the experiment phase and are happy to let you know that we have added in the ability to persistently display BOTH follower and sub goals simultaneously! We recommend that you enable Creator Goals today to help grow your channel. Thanks again! For any future feedback, please feel free to leave it under Creators and Stream Features > Creator Goals.

  2. Let the creator choose the START point as well as the end goal for the Sub Goal feature

It would be great if we could have the choice of WHERE to start the Sub Goal (not only at "existing current subs," but also the option of a start number that we choose, from zero TO existing current subs.)

    Reasons could include:
    - starting at zero can be a more impactful start, as the community can watch the goal visibly progress from nothing
    - all creators may not want to, or be comfortable with, showing their full current sub count on screen
    - goal start numbers could be customised along with the end goal numbers to go along with…

You can accomplish this by picking New Subs for the Sub Count when setting up your goal. Thank you.

  3. It would be nice if we had a live sub count as well as a sub goal.
