Creators and Stream Features

How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

If you need help:
This forum is for ideas only. If you need help, please check out our help portal for tons of articles that may answer your questions. If you still need help, you can reach out to our support team in the help portal as well!

Appeals or commentary on suspension decisions, support requests, suggestions disparaging others, and non-constructive feedback will be closed without comment.

  1. We’re experimenting with cues as a way to help streamers while they're live. Follow cues are a feature that reminds streamers to tell viewers to follow when they are live. Timing of these reminders are based on real-time data that tells us when the percentage of viewers not following you is higher than usual. We are testing location of these cues in either Chat or Activity Feed.

  2. Hi all,

Guest Star is a tool we're developing, which makes it easy, safe & fun for streamers to invite guests (viewers or other streamers) to join your stream. We have recently released an early version of the tool to a select group of streamers to help us shape the final product experience via testing the technology and providing feedback on the experience. To learn more about Guest Star, please visit our help article (https://link.twitch.tv/GuestStarFAQs); and for those with early access, please share your feedback on here on UserVoice!

  3. As some of you may have heard on Patch Notes, we're excited to announce the upcoming launch of new settings that will allow Creators to have additional customization over how they receive incoming raids. Here are the key features and changes you'll see upcoming in September:

    • Tailor the min/max thresholds for viewers, based on your needs! If you have missed 1-3 viewer raids, you can now opt to see those notifications again!
    • Set up requirements based on (1) account age and/or (2) channel type. For example, you can choose to only allow raids from accounts you follow, etc.
    • Additionally, you…

  4. We're experimenting with Raids on Mobile! This feature will be rolling out to a limited number of users this week. These Android and iOS users will see a new Quick Action called “Raid Channel” in the Stream Manager on the mobile app. From here, users can search through live channels they follow, or search for any live channel using the search bar in the raid panel.

We'd love to hear your feedback on this experiment. Please upvote and comment your suggestions for us here!

  5. This launch of Creator Goals is just the beginning by giving creators a way to set goals and show them to their community. However, we know there’s so much more to build. We see opportunities to enable deeper customization, advanced settings, and more community interaction. You can find more information at our help article here: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/creator-goals

We’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how we can improve Creator Goals on Twitch.

Thank you for your ongoing support and feedback!

Looking for Feedback  ·  Ana responded

    Hi all,

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We have launched a few improvements to Creator Goals, based on the insights you have provided:

    1. Customize your Creator Goals' color to better reflect your channel's branding.
    2. Viewers using the mobile app (iOS & Android) are now able to follow and contribute to your Creator Goal progress in real time!
    3. Sub Goals can be toggled to be based on Sub Count rather than Sub Points.

Thank you again, for your feedback - we hope you continue to share it, so we can continue to improve this feature for our community!
