Hi there,
With the help of the Advanced Audio Mixer, you may mute this feature allows you to control your audio sources on a per-app basis. To use this feature, an in-app installation is required, available via the Twitch Studio general settings under Audio. For more information, please head over to our help article.

this option would be amazing, sometimes i wanna stream while im playing discord with my friends, but they might not necessarily want their voice on stream

Is it possible to make a feature for controlling my audio sources and tribute them to different channels rather than turn on the function "Exclude this source from VODs" because when I turn that on for instance on my music track, it will turn off all my desktop sound (Game-Sound, Discord etc.)

I find this to be a feature that is in need to enhance streaming on this platform. It would make things a lot easier. I want my stream to hear my gameplay as well as my game chat.

Discord has a streamer mode which should handle this.

There is actually the Streamer Mode on Discord that does that and (if configured) activates automatically when you open Twitch Studio (it works for me).
If it doesnt i don't know what i can do for you sorry... the "do not disturb" option is still open i guess ^^
Good Luck on your Stream Journey -

You make it so people can mute tabs or applications that don't want to be heard. Mine is my discord cause friends are in call and they don't want to be on stream

I was looking around to see if someone suggested this already and I only found this, which is quite surprising to me. I really would love this feature. It's making me consider looking through other programs just because of this alone.
Discord only captures audio from the application I'm streaming, it would be nice if twitch studio could do the same. Some applications I have running have audio notifications and its quite annoying having to turn them all off.
The only audio I want to have playing in my broadcast is from the game I'm streaming and from my mic.

So I can be able to choose which apps that create sound will be on the stream. When I'm on a discord call, I can make sure the call isn't on my stream or any other background apps

It would be nice to have an easy way to "block" out voice from other apps like discord and teamspeak. So that I can stream my voice, what ever I am streaming and music. But leave out the voice of the once I'm speaking with. Incase I don't want their voice on stream or they don't want their voice on stream.

I want to stream, but I don't want to have my discord chat with my buddies playing during the stream over the game's audio. A way to mute Discord chat relatively easily to stop that would be much appreciated.

Make it so that my stream only can hear the game instead of everything on my computer. So that I could use discord without my stream hearing.
Thanks in advance,

DannyHoro if you don't want discord audio to come through on to the stream just change your status to "do not disturb" on discord and you won't get any noise on your stream.

I would like the ability to only capture audio from a specific source and nothing else may I so choose.
This could be useful if I wanted to listen to music or podcasts while streaming or maybe watch a video while my viewers can't hear it.
