OBS FEATURE - Gamecapture Allow Transparency
When adding a game capture in OBS, SLOBS, or XSplit, there is an option to allow transparency. This is a useful feature for standalone programs designed to run as an overlay.

I'm missing this feature, it's impossible to capture Windows that use normal transparency (which has been in Windows for a long long long time)...
Using a Chroma key is not the solution, that's a very ugly looking workaround. Other streaming softwares like OBS and Streamlabs are able to do this.
Cmon twitch .. Pokes stick..

Still not implemented :(

This is still relevent. Setting the border opacity to 0 does not make the black spaces in an app transparant.

This is no longer relevant, Twitch studio has the option.
When making a screen capture, capture specific window, and set the border opacity to be 0.
This is the same as Allowing Transparency with OBS -

This feature would be really great! We would finally be able to use Stream Avatars in Twitch Studio.
Thank you! 🙂

Yes the chroma key is just a temporary solution as backgrounds change and you constantly have to reset the color.
