Ability to backup Twitch Studio Scenes
I would like to be able to backup my Twitch Studio Scenes in case I need to format or move my Twitch Studio scenes over to another computer. An Import/Export feature would be useful addition.

I need this feature too.

Same here... it's a must option. Scenes should be saved either online on the account or at least on your computer with everyithing.. layouts pics links etc.

Yes. Please!
Export scenes made to another computers system.
I want to be able to go from one computer to another and sign in and see the same setups I have everywhere else.
Designing an entirely new Layout and all each time going from one computer to another is too much.

This would be amazing. I'm having trouble with my app, but I don't want to have to reset it and recreate all my scenes. This isn't even a computer swap or streaming from an alternate device. This is all just even on the same device that I have to reset the app on because the settings got borked. But, if I do that, it kills all my scenes and I have no way to back them up and then restore them later. So... I'm over a barrel for either continuing to try and manually fix my settings so I don't lose my scenes, or recreating all my scenes after resetting the app. THIS WOULD BE SO USEFUL, TWITCH. Please bring it.

Please, please, please add this ability! It shouldn't take a workaround like the one suggested if you have to switch to a new computer or if you want to share your scenes across multiple computers.
I noticed in a declined thread that this is being held off because it's not considered useful to 'new' users - but let me tell you, any new streamer who has their main streaming computer crash with thank you for having some kind of cloud-based back up available through their Twitch Account or the ability to import their scenes from a previously saved backup.

It'd be nice if everything was just stored in your Twitch Profile. Kind of just expected this to be the case.

Misha Mayhem's idea below (April 2, 2021) worked! Thanks for the tip!

I just upgraded to a new gaming laptop and am wondering if I need to recreate all of my scenes.

Twitch please add a cloud sync feature for scenes. That way we can stream seamlessly without change anywhere.

I upgraded from a laptop to a PC, and the scenes that I worked ******* were gone. I wish there was a function where it could be tied to the account so I can easily stream from different devices especially when I'm streaming remotely.
It's hard when you have to keep recreating your scenes whenever you use a different device.
Tying it to the account would also be easier for when another streamer uses your PC imo.

Hey, I came across this question while also looking for the answer. Here's what I found:
The below referenced page on Twitch's help site is of course not for this purpose, but it does point out where you need to look.
If you go to C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\Twitch Studio this is all the configuration for the app, including your scenes. It does NOT include your images, just the layouts and other settings. You can copy this folder to another computer and put it in the same place and Twitch Studio will load up with all your scenes and stuff intact, assuming your images are in the same place on the other computer. If the images are not in the same placethen just edit the scenes and "Change" the image and point it to wherever the correct image is, should work fine.
You can also do what I did, and move the entire folder to your Google Drive / Dropbox / whatever, then use a symbolic link to make the app think the Twitch Studio folder is really in the Appdata\Roaming folder.
Example command: mklink /D "C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Twitch Studio" "C:\Users\myusername\Google Drive\My Twitch Stuff\Twitch Studio"

I understand Twitch, in the past, has said it is focusing on the "New User Experience" and feels that's more of an advanced feature . . .
My argument I'm sure is shared by many others, yes it's nice to focus on the newbie's. How-ever, if you are attempting to create something to draw users from the OBS Studio/Streamlabs ObS camps to your studio for your platform, don't you want them to have easy and quick "Import" option, if they have to put in a bunch of extra time, most won't switch up, they'll stay where they are. The argument listed in the Original Post is also valid, people may have a PC mishap, or be swapping out from one PC to another, and you are forcing them to start from scratch, when at least 2, 3 or many other streaming softwares provide the import/export options already. -

Also second this. I have an entirely separate pc I use for animating. It would be nice to design some custom work and add it straight to Studio for use on my streaming pc.

I am asking myself : what would happen if I change my computer ? Would I loose all my scenes ? It is safe to invest a lot of time making nice scenes if I loose them when I change / loose / whatever, my computer ?

I support this idea, cloud storage backup of setup would be great for when switching between multiple pc's.

Addition to this idea: Be able to export it into some sort of format, and be able to reuse it later (Could be used for backups, or just when you want to share your scenes with a friend)

My idea is, Save all scenes that are made in the cloud so you can go to another pc, download twitch studio login with account and all stuff be there. Its a really good idea i personally think.
