I used to be a long time Twitch user but took a break from watching streams.
Coming back, I found myself in TikTok streams and occasionally coming back to Twitch. I realized Twitch was missing a few things when it comes to Bits and how those are utilized. Bits should be easier to identify (Its symbol is a diamond thing?) please make the Bit symbol into a gift box or present symbol of some kind. Additionally, bits/gifts should be more fun and unlockable (Similar to TikToks Vault gifts) with bit/gifter levels showing for users as a badge. This badge can go away after not gifting for a period of time. Anyone who has watched live streams on TikTok understands that a gifter level is something fun to be part of and have. I'm level 24 on TikTok and do gift to increase my level and maintain it. A level 30+ gifter entering your chat is something you don't see often and awesome to see when they drop in. Having higher levels should also unlocks rare vault gifts and other special gifts. I was watching a friend's stream on Twitch where we had no idea how to use Bits and it just wasn't appealing to do anything with them. Bits needs to show the prices under all of them for transparency and clarity. Having dedicated bits that never change in addition to custom bits that can be added (With sound effects) makes it easy to understand for both users and streamers - AN example would be similar gifting a Galaxy or Rose on TikTok live. By no means am I saying copy TikTok exactly. However, anyone can see that its gifting system is more fun to use, easier to use + understand and give value to both all parties. Twitch having a similar system would enhance the viewing experience for everyone.
