Currently, overlay extensions only overlay the video on PC.

Hey everyone, thank you for your continued feedback!

Developers are able to offer a mobile view of their Twitch Extension by providing an additional version that acts similar to panels on a channel page. The icon to open the mobile version is located on the chat tab in the Twitch mobile application.  An overlay view for a Twitch Extension is specifically intended for viewing in a desktop web browser and this functionality is currently not being investigated for mobile use.

For services that provide overlay graphics via Twitch Extensions, we recommend that these views be made available as browser sources for broadcasting software if viewability across all viewing destinations (e.g. desktop, mobile, console) is a high priority for your use case.

Thank you again for this feedback, and please let us know of any additional suggestions you may have in the future.

This needs to be a thing so console users can use and enjoy overlays

This is so needed, not to mention all the creativity that can go into just for majority of the viewers not to see it, its kind of upsetting

I'm a Twitch affiliate, and I only have one viewer who watches on PC. The entire point of the overlays was to improve the user experience, but it doesn't affect 99% of my audience. Make this change, please!

Mobile really needs to be expanded and utilized more. I am a console streamer who does everything from stream mod to post stream editing and publishing from my phone for the last 2 years of streaming. My tablet is so old that chrome can't even update anymore and do not have a computer. Because of this my stream appearance looks bland unfortunately. I know a lot of this can be done through mobile but you can't even see your work during the stream and designing...A NIGHTMARE which makes it not worth it.
