Currently, overlay extensions only overlay the video on PC.

Please allow overlay extensions to overlay the video on mobile too.

Hey everyone, thank you for your continued feedback!

Developers are able to offer a mobile view of their Twitch Extension by providing an additional version that acts similar to panels on a channel page. The icon to open the mobile version is located on the chat tab in the Twitch mobile application.  An overlay view for a Twitch Extension is specifically intended for viewing in a desktop web browser and this functionality is currently not being investigated for mobile use.

For services that provide overlay graphics via Twitch Extensions, we recommend that these views be made available as browser sources for broadcasting software if viewability across all viewing destinations (e.g. desktop, mobile, console) is a high priority for your use case.

Thank you again for this feedback, and please let us know of any additional suggestions you may have in the future.

6000 votes and over 1600 comments should be enough to add this feature by now. Twitch isn't a new service and I'm shocked this isn't done yet

Please make this a feature ASAP! Its honestly missing out on a huge number of people wanting to make quality streams from their consoles. And it isn't fair to exclude such an essential tool for customizable and quality streaming experience

Id love this. Also the Overlay Expert extension doesn’t actually display any of my overlays to my viewers and is odd because I can see the overlays on my monitor but not for the viewer. Please help me or fix this! (PS- I stream on Xbox One Console). Thanks.

To have all the same overlays has pc players do on consoles so we have the same amount of viewers

We need these updates to offer a fair and quality stream to all platforms. The fact we still can't offer overlays on consoles is so crazy! All types of gamers and viewers deserve these updates. Overlay expert a great start

For extensions to show up on twitch, most of my viewers are on mobile, as far as i can tell, and i spent a few hours making a working overlay
