Document API and IRC tags for replies Web chat users got access to the new "replies" feature, where you can mark your message to be a reply of another message.
My suggestion is to add official documentation on how third parties can use this feature (for sending messages and for parsing received messages to be a reply)

Authentification desctription isn't descriptive enough Description in "Getting tokens" isn't very clear and missing a link to "Getting Tokens: OAuth", where it's all explained in detail. That does confuse people

Complete Response Codes in Twitch Docs It would be great if we could have a list of the status codes and their reasons so we can write code to prepare for handling those errors, instead of logging them and dealing with them as they happen - for all endpoints. These exist, for the most part, in a lot of the newer endpoint documentation, but a lot of the older endpoints were rushed in their documentation and we have little information on what responses to expect. Sometimes we get 200s, 202s, 400s, 410s - and having to just "wait" or try to plan for them is a…

Inaccurate info in instrcutions It appears that the Glitch file has been changed! I couldn't get the !dice command to work, until i figured that the command had been changed to !d20 along with the number of sides changed to 20. Or maybe this was a ploy.... to help me understand coding better... Thanks!

"Build your first Extension" section lacks critical information The "build your first extension" walkthrough was perfect until about the half-way mark, then it started omitting hugely important steps. I had to stumble around to try and keep up, and although I was modestly successful, I was not able to see my Panel extension in my channel. Would have been helpful to actually have a zip file of assets to upload, because I have no idea whether I did that step correctly.

Post a link to GitHub repo of full source code of tutorial "Check: If you want to see the completed code at this stage, its available on the Step 1 branch."
There are no links to the source code. It would be extremely helpful to have a link to GitHub repo with full set of code in this tutorial, to see how it all goes together.

Documentation is misleading The example and/or documentation of the "Channel Points Event Message" seem to be wrong/misleading, because the example reply does not match the structure of "Message Parameters: All Messages"

anonsubgift, anonsubmysterygift, anongiftpaidupgrade are documented but never occur https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc/tags#usernotice-twitch-tags documents anonsubgift and anongiftpaidupgrade. I found this announcement post https://discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/anonymous-sub-gifting-to-launch-11-15-launch-details/18683 saying that apparently it was temporarily disabled as a workaround. As far as I can tell to this day the workaround is used. The documentation should be updated to remove the originally planned but never put into service types, and instead document that anonymous gifts come from AnAnonymousGifter.

Remove jQuery from the GA Example The examples for Google Analytics suggest using jQuery. Which is extra bloat if an extension hasn't use jQuery to start with and can lead to confusion

More information about 'id' uniqueness More information is required about the uniqueness of id. Is it unique forever (i.e. there will never be two messages with the same id) or is it just guaranteed unique within a timeframe?

Emotes referred to as numbers, where this is no longer true The PRIVMSG Twitch Tags documententation
https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc/tags#privmsg-twitch-tags
says
Information to replace text in the message with emote images. This can be empty. Syntax: <emote ID>:<first index>-<last index>,<another first index>-<another last index>/<another emote ID>:<first index>-<last index>... emote ID – The number to use in this URL:
Due to channel point modifications, this is no longer true, as emote's are no longer always numbers, they can be xxxx_hf for example

Gift sub grouping When a "gift bomb"
there is no way to gather all the gifts into one event.
Each gift in a bomb should have a ID to link it to the header event.IRC sends a header saying "x is giving out y subs to the community"
But the USERNOTICE events, don't say they belong to that event. Please provide a way to group the events, something as simple as a "parentid" in the child gifts subs, that'll link to a "childid" in the header event.
This header and extra ID's need to be provided on the PubSub event…

Add .env files in the Managing Extension Secrets section Another way to manage an extension secret is to use a .env file. The .env file can be used to store all kinds of secrets, tokens, and passwords.
eg: TOKEN=testT0K3N
note: .env is a shell file so there can't be spaces around =

PubSub Channel Points Data Layout Cleanup Right now, most of the PubSub topics are inconsistent with each other (understandably so). This, however, is focusing on cleaning up some of the ChannelPoints event data that is either unnecessary, redundant, or unclear:
As a note, the information stripped away from the structure is not invalid data, but rather data we likely don't need per message and instead should have a fetch api like manner. One example is the image objects that are likely to never change in the lifetime of a reward. This would save needless encoding as well as any data costs there may be on either…

Fixed position or better visibility for important announcements As per a request from Barry, it would helpful if any flagged messages on a page were fixed or visible when loading a bookmarked section. For example, right now there is an important message on the API reference page about OAuth requirements for Helix, but if someone goes directly to https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#get-streams, they will not see this message currently.

Add existing IRC WHISPER command to IRC documentation The IRC gateway passes whispers using the WHISPER code:
[16:36:15] [@] @badges=bits-charity/1;color=#3E2E18;display-name=foo;emotes=;message-id=2;thread-id=21001676_470220570;turbo=0;user-id=2109996;user-type= :foo!foo!foo.twitch.tv WHISPER myuser :this is a whisper
But I am unable to find any reference to that code on https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc/commands where I would expect it, or any other documentation page under the "Chatbots and IRC" section.
I would suggest adding the WHISPER command to the list of commands at the top of the page on the IRC: Commands section, something similar to:
WHISPER Receive a Whisper message from another user
and then the prototype at the bottom, to include the fact that it appears the WHISPER command is…

Clarify read-only nature of IRC MODE command While you do a good job of stating that the IRC interface deviates from the RFC, as well as where and how it deviates from the RFC, it may be beneficial to specifically call out the deviation that the MODE command is server-generated (read only), instead of being a keyword that can be generated by a client.
In other words, my bot cannot issue its own "MODE #channel +o nickname" command via the IRC interface (like it can on IRC), it can only receive notifications from the server that the server has sett one of those modes. One sentence covering…
