A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

Really disappointing there are ads with loud music with seemingly no cap to volume, purposefully designed to force the user to "look at the screen" and turn the volume down.

There have been many times ive had to click away from small streamers for this exact reason. They dont get quality options a lot of the time and 1080p 60 fps is too much internet to be using in the background.

Cons:
- hate seeing featured clips as the first thing i see opening the mobile app. Take up way too much space. Why should i have to scroll down to see who is live.- the same featured clips stay up for what seems like a week. Looking at the same still image every time i open the app is obnoxious.
- auto sorting to featured clips on the clips page makes it more difficult to just see the top viewed clips from the past day or week.
Need
- an option to hide featured posts from certain creators
- an option to turn off featured clips altogether
- for the clips to appear below the list of live channelsHaving a clips section or feed is a good idea. A single interface to scroll through the featured clips of followed channels or a category. It needs to be its own directory though and not something obstructing me from seeing live channels.

Hi, hi,
We've heard you and are happy to relay that we've launched an experiment for the mute button to some users, so that they can independently mute the app's video player! Please make sure you update your app to the latest version to see if you were chosen to participate. We are looking forward to your feedback here. Thank you!

I agree, on youtube or spotify i can double tap my airpods to pause, then double tap again to resume playback. As someone who listens to content while working it is a major disservice to not have this pause option on twitch.

If this is to be implemented, please just provide a legacy mode that will allow existing users to utilize the existing mobile design. There is no rational justification for experimenting on your current customers (current, paying customers....) without providing the option to maintain what has always worked. Especially when the "updated" design is insanity.
