An error occurred while saving the comment OwlysaurusRex commentedThis would make the 2023 Turbo price hike actually worthwhile to me and I would resume using Turbo. As it is, I quit using Turbo in 2023 because there were no additional perks or services along with the cost increase. It was just a money grab.

An error occurred while saving the comment OwlysaurusRex commentedIf there has been no streamer activity in over X days, I think Twitch is obligated to do *something* for the long-term subscribers. I do not think it is sufficient to hide behind legalese, take the customer's up-front money, and run. That behavior looks horrible to the customers and deters people from subbing for longer.
Even if Twitch doesn't refund the money, maybe they could front the cost of Twitch Turbo for a couple of months while you look for someone new to follow on a dedicated basis. That is what good stewardship would look like.

An error occurred while saving the comment OwlysaurusRex commentedMuch of this suggestion is being addressed with an upcoming moderator messaging feature. What still remains is that Twitch should include educational resources to help mods maximize the effectiveness of their messaging.
As mentioned here, merely saying "Don't backseat" means nothing if a person doesn't know what that means, and so the unwanted behavior is likely to continue.
Further, citing a chat rule doesn't tell the offending user how to behave instead. Education is needed on how to reframe messages so that they aren't offensive. Being able to link to articles or videos or even simply quick copy/paste examples would go a long way.

An error occurred while saving the comment OwlysaurusRex commentedIt seems unhelpful to receive fewer good ideas from your customers. Other large platforms that have advanced feedback mechanisms do much more to encourage users to use them. It is odd that something Twitch's size does not promote this area.
An error occurred while saving the comment OwlysaurusRex commentedI assume Twitch would be interested in leveraging user feedback to improve their products. It hardly seems helpful to ignore it or to prevent it from being offered. I have to google this page to find it, to this day I have no idea how to find it starting from Twitch.tv. I imagine it is the same for others too.

We would like to offer an “off-duty mode” for Mods, but it isn’t one of our top priorities at the moment. Will revisit in 2021.
