The fact that accessibility features are locked behind things is just ridiculous. A viewer should have these options available to them regardless of whether the streamer they are watching is unaffiliated/affiliated/partnered - how is this locked to the streamer and their level of achievement?

Hey there!
Though we have not yet added support for multiple language tags, we have added more than 350 new options that we think may help out with this particular ask.
For more information, you can take a look at our blog post at https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2021/05/26/celebrate-yourself-and-your-community-with-350-new-tags/. Thank you for your feedback and ideas!
We will leave this topic open for now for further discussion around whether this meets the needs of the request.

Hey all! Wanted to let you know that we recently updated the Teams color so that it looks more interactive and noticeable. We decided to add it to the About panel, because it is more about the streamer - where it was before was more about that particular stream.

I thought Teams stopped being a thing, so this really does need to change.

Why is there even a limit? If there has to be a limit, 30 would be more than enough, gives folks more choice.

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

A ban is a ban, enough said. Viewing privileges revoked, period.

There are several places that have this implemented, some so strict, that you can't post until you've verified your email. So this is a definite yes.
To echo all the comments below, this would be a great addition and it would make streaming from South Africa a whole lot better. It would also open up further opportunities for the rest of Africa to join this global community.
