We announced today on Patch Notes that we will be giving all streamers access to Channel Points. We will begin rolling out in the US on 7/28 and expand globally over the course of this year.

Generative AI is a massive blight on our environment and our society, stealing from the creatives without so much as a second thought. The implementation of generative AI features is something that you'll find to be in diametric opposition to the creative and expressive nature of streaming, and is not something that should be implemented in any capacity. However, should Twitch choose to implement generative AI features that scrape streamers content for "training", all users should be opted out by default. Every person should have the opportunity and freedom to choose how their creations and likenesses are used, and not have to find out, possibly after the fact, that they need to go toggle yet another option hidden in their user/channel settings. If generative AI features are implemented with no option to fully and completely opt out of my channel, streams, and clips being used to train or generate content via these features, I will leave this platform.
