This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

Pure garbage, need to revert back to where I don't have to see autoplay videos and I land on my following page. I curated my following feed, why do you think I want to add random channels to that list?

Roll it back, I don't want to see what other content you chose to boost, I want only the content I choose. Feel free to check my usage, you'll see I've dropped off using twitch almost half thanks to this bad change.

Looking for Feedback  ·  Ana responded

    Hi, hi,

We've heard you and are happy to relay that we've launched an experiment for the mute button to some users, so that they can independently mute the app's video player! Please make sure you update your app to the latest version to see if you were chosen to participate. We are looking forward to your feedback here. Thank you!
