It definitely doesn't seem reasonable to shut off a feature that streamers/mods can choose to use or not anyway because of tests on a small number of users/communities.

It would definitely be helpful to at least know what changes twitch is planning for their site, especially when those changes affect all creators on the site. It's frustrating to search around for information regarding changes that twitch has made, and it would be much more helpful to have that information up front so we can account for those changes and spend more time focusing on improving content and supporting other creators!

I also agree with the latest suggestion of editors being able to manage channel point rewards. There's been more than a few times when I've seen channel point redeems get redeemed more often or behave differently than the streamer was expecting, and it would be nice to have the ability to change cooldown times and deactivate/activate rewards, or even just change rewards when the streamer changes their game.

Thanks for the request. This was actually our first idea too, but it’s been difficult to think of a way to do it without making the Ban flow too complicated, especially for Mods who are currently using the Mod Action buttons next to messages to Ban.

We would definitely like to give Mods a way to communicate with each other more easily, and are starting to explore implementation options.

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

It would be great to at least have the option to choose pre-roll ads instead of midrolls, especially for editors that work a lot to manage streams.
