Charity

How it works:
  • If you'd like to nominate a charity, please go to the Request a Charity subpage and tell us the charity name, website, and country. We will be reviewing these submissions periodically.
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea to check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Upvoting existing ideas will increase the weight behind the idea, as opposed to multiple similar requests (we will combine these anyway)
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information

If you need help:
This forum is for ideas only. If you need help, please check out our help portal for tons of articles that may answer your questions. If you still need help, you can reach out to our support team in the help portal as well!

Appeals or commentary on suspension decisions, support requests, suggestions disparaging others, and non-constructive feedback will be closed without comment.

  3. Help for Heroes is a charity that provides lifelong recovery support to British Armed Forces service personnel who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty and their families.

Right now, they need your support more than ever. Due to the pandemic, our income has fallen and we’ve seen a 50 per cent increase in the number of veterans struggling with their mental health. Every penny you raise makes a real difference to veterans and those still serving, helping them to recover and get on with their lives.

PancONE Network is the international research division of Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation, which aims to disrupt the traditional approach to discovery in pancreatic cancer by bringing together multiple sectors, innovations, and novel methods to drive real change. We’ve waited long enough for the kind of meaningful progress that matters in the lives of those directly affected by this horrendous cancer.

Survival must increase more rapidly than 1-2% every decade. If we could change the odds for ****** cancer in our lifetime, what is stopping us from doing the same for pancreatic cancer?

  18. https://shadowcats.net/

In 1997 there were very few resources available for stray cats in the central Texas area and nationwide. Rampant breeding allowed cats to give birth to countless litters of kittens to continue the cycle of suffering. Doomed to an indifferent life on the streets, their lives were usually brief; or, if they ended up in shelters, they were usually euthanized soon after arrival.

Identifying a great need, Shadow Cats became a reality- a resource for cats in the shadows.

Through diligence, a small cadre of veterinarians and trappers began to work together to learn to humanely trap, sterilize, vaccinate…
