Give more love to High Volume creator hub cities
First, Update this Uservoice category to make it clear that IRL Events & Merch doesn't just apply to Twitchcon as Twitch puts on local meetups, Partner meetup events, Live DJ Music events and many other IRL activations outside of just Twitchcon.
Second, big cities like Seattle, Los Angeles/Irvine, San Fran/San Jose, Atlanta, Austin , San Antonio etc with big PARTER & Sponsor populations should be incentives those Partners/Sponsors and/or Twitch STAFF who have local HQ offices or the budget to travel to attend local city meetups to do so.
Los Angeles, Austin and Atlanta for example have the majority of the top 500 creators on the platform but ALL of these Meetup organizers are having issues holding meetings, getting attendance or even struggle to get funding to accommodate the little attendance they can muster under the existing Meetup organization rules.
For examples since its my home Meetup; during big events like SummerGamesFest, AnimeExpo, TheGameAwards, Amazon Music events/concerts, or even Streamer Org events like QTs charity concerts or StreamerAwards, Ludwigs events, eSports stuff by sponsors; these are huge opportunities to do joint public invites along with Twitch MeetUp organizers. Especially since more times then not, Partners attend these events and could easily promote the Twitch Meetup and/or attend for guest signings / live Q&A from say TWITCH STAFF especially Twitch C-Suite teams that have TRAVEL BUDGETS beyond compare.
Local Meetups are dying and its a shame as funds get pushed into Guilds!
