There's nothing worse than raiding into a stream and being greeted by ads. In 2019 a Uservoice suggestion with the same title was implemented so that raiders would not see adverts, but apparently this has since been unimplemented or stopped working, because I'm told that ads for raiders is now a thing again.

To be clear, one of the things I look forward to after a raid is seeing the streamer reacting to the raid and all the lovely messages. I can do that because I have Turbo, so I don't see ads, but any other raiders? They apparently see ads, and they are missing out on the raid experience.

Please rectify this as soon as possible.

   Sincerely,

   Remington

Planned  ·  AdminShimesaba (Product Manager, Twitch) responded

Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.
