Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

Not only is using streams to train generative AI aimed to help billionaires make more money and waste resources that will contribute to climate change, it's effectively without anyone's consent and the already pitiful amount of revenue streamers make on the platform won't increase or profit as a result of this. This doesn't benefit the viewer or the streamer and is unethical. Your platform has royally failed and has completely lost its purpose if it can't uphold that. You will lose real humans and replace them with enshittified bots that lie, which apparently seems to be the aim for a lot of companies for some reason. If this happens I will delete my account and urge everyone else to do the same.
