This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

Being able to easily click the Followed Channels list is the first thing I ever do when I open the twitch app - but now the button has been relegated to a tiny tiny button located in the furtherest end of my screen from my fingers. Make this a bigger easier to reach button and I'll deal with any other terrible change like autoplay that you want to put in.

There's a secondary problem here: the Followed Channels list in the left sidebar is ordered in some random order that does not make sense (even when "recommended for you" is selected).
Channels that you watch often should be higher up on the list than a channel that you do not watch as much.
Viewer count should not be taken into account for "recommended for you", or be given a much, much lower weighting.
If a stream commonly has less than 10 viewers but you watch it every time they are live, it should be prioritised higher than a stream that has 50 or 100 or 1000 viewers just because a lot of people are watching it.
