there shouldn't be a possible scenario where people are annoyed that, for example, the hype train reached level 100 because they wanted the pogchomp emote.
In fact, people might contribute to the train because they specifically want the pogchomp emote and then feel cheated if that train happens to go past that tier and they already have the KappaInfinite emote. This also means they need to donate *again* in a second hype train to try and get the pogchomp emote.
You shouldn't have to pull the brakes on the hype train just because you're worried you might go to far. Hype trains aren't supposed to be stopped!

I'd love to see a music production category like the game dev category that PirateSoftware suggested that eventually got added. I want to see and talk to people people building tracks in software like FL Studio but they're competing with hundreds of 24/7 music channels or DJs. While I acknowledge that those definitely have an audicence and aren't in themselves a negative, it makes it feel like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack when I'm looking for what I want and probably isn't much more encouraging on the streamer side either.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

I know easily a dozen streamers, including many of my favourites, and some of which are Partners who average hundreds of average viewers, who would leave twitch the moment AI stuff is shoved onto the platform, ESPECIALLY if Twitch doesn't give us a way to opt out.
Also, Twitch is already struggling for money, it doesn't need to waste more on AI, an expensive and destructive technology that most of the userbase, both viewers and streamers, would be happier without.
And Twitch, if you really are hard set on AI data collection and stuff, I urge you to at least wait a couple months in case the AI bubble pops, which might already be in the process of happening, so that you don't cause an irreversible PR disaster for nothing.
