    The only reason so far I've ever wanted shield mode is for being spam followed by bots, but it's the one setting shield mode doesn't have! Over 15 months since your idea and twitch hasn't implemented this...they don't read uservoice at all do they?

    I have now had three tickets closed on the same problem that I've been experiencing for over 5 weeks now; it got closed less than 48 hours after the last troubleshooting step, which I could not test yet because the streamer in question has not streamed again in that time period...and they closed my ticket because they "couldn't help me". (except they could've, if they waited for my reply and DID NOT CLOSE MY TICKET.)

    First of all, you were waiting for me to report back DO NOT CLOSE MY TICKET. Second, this is a twitch problem I've been experiencing consistently for over a month DO NOT CLOSE MY TICKET.

    Just had an incredibly frustrating example of how much they are NOT READING SUPPORT TICKETS BEFORE FLINGING GENERIC EMAILS AT PEOPLE.

    I got this garbage generic email that I've already seen a half a dozen times before:

    Try refreshing the page or updating the app if you're using a mobile or desktop app. It may be a temporary issue with fetching your current subscription status.
    Confirm your Turbo subscription has not recently expired.
    Check if you are using an alternate Twitch player? Alternate players may not correctly login to your Twitch account to retrieve your Turbo status.
    Try to disable any ad blocker you're using. We believe there may be a conflict with some ad blockers which is causing the issue.
    Try another browser, as some may have ad blockers built in.

    I literally already addressed those points IN THE SUPPORT TICKET because I already knew all the generic advice didn't fix my problem, and yet they sent that garbage anyway! The support people who do this are doing such a bad job they should be FIRED! This is so annoying!!!

    Yeap, happening to me too, and support is willfully useless about it. As I just posted, they need a specific report option in the gear icon when being shown ads that specifically states "I am subscribed/have ad-free and am seeing these ads". But one kinda gets the feeling they don't want to fix the problem because showing extra ads to people isn't a "problem" to them as a business, it's a way to make extra money, and acting like it's an oopsie they "can't fix" allows them to keep making that money.

    These UserVoice/Fan Feedback/etc. systems are always put out by corporations to give the impression they're listening, but it's really for feedback and criticism to die and not go anywhere. You're right to call them out on this useless corner of their website; they take basically nothing from it and as a result we as users get nothing from it either.

    What a crazy notion, right? Shame on Twitch support employees! If I didn't do my job I would have the decency to quit and stop collecting a paycheck but apparently that's not the Twitch attitude.

    Absolute joke, especially when the bug I need to report is the bug in the support form that is preventing me from requesting support. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

    It's so true, the standards from the support team are non-existent; unless bailing on your ticket as fast as possible without helping you counts as a "standard".

    Twitch is terrified of a satisfaction survey bcuz they know they will always fail, but they absolutely need the feedback and to be held accountable because what they offer doesn't even deserve to be called support.

    I wish I could report every twitch support person who closes my tickets after giving me two half-arsed responses with generic advice that doesn't work, and then saying "welp, we can't address this, we're closing it" WHICH MEANS WE CAN'T CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION, WE CAN'T PRESERVE THE TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS PERFORMED, IT JUST RESTARTS CONSTANTLY!!!

    Twitch support responses that close tickets so fast are unacceptable!!
