We should be able to control what appears on our streams. Adding an option for viewers to disrupt the stream, with no way for us to turn it off, is antithetical to the very idea of streaming. It makes no sense that we can't disable it. Please, add an option to turn it off.

I didn't even realize Twitch might be showing military recruitment ads on my streams. I'd like that to stop immediately—and why hasn't Twitch said anything about this two-year-old idea?
On Patch Notes they beg us to come use UserVoice, but what's the point if Twitch ignores things like this?

Twitch, please stop forcing features on us that alter our stream content, add chaos, add frustration, & function as relentless vectors for abuse.
I don't know why you think you don't need to talk to your users before making radical alterations, but it's a great way to burn bridges & push people to other platforms. If that's the strategy, it's working.
Let us opt out of these things. Give us off switches. Give us control over what we broadcast—isn't that the point of being on Twitch? That we control what we do? Do not let right-wing lunatics call me & say slurs on my stream. Let me turn this off.
