Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

If we can filter who can chat by hundreds of potential combinations of settings, a simple yes/no slider to permit anonymous cheers is obviously the answer here.

An error occurred while saving the comment Moxiety commentedSame problem here. I see this is definitely an ongoing thing. I have 52 followers but the dash/achievement shows 37. I sure hope I get the invite after day 7 because I already have the average views (hovering around 6). It would be really disappointing otherwise.
This feature is incredibly valuable and has great potential. Moments allow those viewers who are really invested in a community a way to grow a badge that shows their commitment, and it is meaningful to everyone that claims a Moment and chooses to display their badge. As a streamer with Moments, it is also very fulfilling to see and recognize when someone's badge evolves.
I was personally sad to learn that Moments would be completely discontinued without asking for my feedback as a part of the beta. Were any streamers or community members in the beta asked for feedback on their user experience with the feature?
Several other comments have been posted with many brilliant ideas to enhance Moments. They've already thought of so many ways to continue building upon it as an essential feature, which shows it already has a big impact even with limited participants included in the beta.
We want this! Please listen - keep Moments, roll them out to more streams, and consider new ideas like tying them to Featured Clips and emote slots. Let viewers continue to feel as included as possible within our communities.
