This is an idea we’ve discussed internally on a few occasions. I can’t make any current commitment to timeline because we have a few things we have to do first, but we would like to provide this feature.

It is FAR past time that Twitch allow users to designate their pronouns in chat. If someone else has created a tool that meets our need, then you can.

Hey there!
Though we have not yet added support for multiple language tags, we have added more than 350 new options that we think may help out with this particular ask.
For more information, you can take a look at our blog post at https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2021/05/26/celebrate-yourself-and-your-community-with-350-new-tags/. Thank you for your feedback and ideas!
We will leave this topic open for now for further discussion around whether this meets the needs of the request.

I don't understand why this would be limited in the first place? Who asked for that?

Teams are a vital part of the Twitch experience for so many of us. Please revert back to the old format!

This seems so easy to do. Why can't we have more control like this?

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users’ Moderation actions in certain cases. We don’t currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

Please do SOMETHING, Twitch. This is getting embarrassing for you and for us.

Seems like a simple addition and another way to add customizable security for each creator on your platform.

We are happy to announce that we have released an update that addresses some of these points.
Channel Banned users will no longer be able to view the chat, and they will also be removed from your Chat list. There is an issue that has caused us to pause this temporarily, but we expect a fix to be out very soon – stay tuned to the Twitter thread below for the update.
Additionally, if you Block a user, they will not be able to subscribe or follow, and Blocking them will automatically unfollow them.

I will leave this topic open for your points about being unable to fully view the remaining content of a channel, and account creation.

HOW is this not already a feature? What's the point of banning someone from my channel if they can continue to view the content? What's the point of the mature filter if banning underage users doesn't prevent them from seeing the content I'm streaming?!

Please make it more difficult/time consuming for 'bad actors' to circumvent your systems and implement this change!

Captions should be a universal function, not a plugin or extension left to the streamer's choice. Do better.
