Almost 13 thousand voices later, and Twitch still decided to turn AI-training on for all accounts, without any warning or notification. The only way many of us knew this happened was through others social media posts letting us know that this change went live.
This is unacceptable, to ignore such a large section of your user base, when we asked for one simple thing, 'let us choose if we want to let you train'. That's it. All you had to do was not turn it on for everyone. Instead you chose to ignore us, when most UserVoice posts get maybe 100 users to agree about something. We all showed up and showed out on the platform we're supposed to, in the way Twitch has told us to, to get ignored.
This is possibly the *worst* decision Twitch has ever made, and y'all need to seriously rethink this one. It's not too late to flip the switch back to 'off' for everyone, send out notifications that this happened, and attempt to garner back SOME goodwill from the community.
Because this? It's not a good look.
