We are happy to announce that we have released an update that addresses some of these points.
Channel Banned users will no longer be able to view the chat, and they will also be removed from your Chat list. There is an issue that has caused us to pause this temporarily, but we expect a fix to be out very soon – stay tuned to the Twitter thread below for the update.
Additionally, if you Block a user, they will not be able to subscribe or follow, and Blocking them will automatically unfollow them.

I will leave this topic open for your points about being unable to fully view the remaining content of a channel, and account creation.

The clips interface states that you have to title a clip and click publish for it to be visible. However, the clip is created even if you do not click publish and closed the tab.
This results in accidental clips being created any time a user does any of the following accidentally:
* Returns to the stream and clicks on the "clip" icon
* Presses Alt+X
* Attempts to click "Settings" and hits "Clip" instead
* Attempts to click "Theatre Mode" and hits "Clip" insteadThis results in:
1. Users having junk clips they've made and have to sort though.
2. Streamers having junk clips of uninteresting points in their streams.In worse cases a clip is created of something that people would not want recorded; for example an accident on stream.
Reproduction:
1. Enter any stream
2. Press Alt+X or click on the "Clip" icon
3. Close the tab without editing or clicking publish
4. Go to your clips management page (https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/[USERNAME]/content/clips)
5. Clip appears in the list despite user not having clicked publishResolution Expected:
A) The text on the page needs changing to make it clear that the clip has already been made and you are now customising it (and that leaving the page will result in the default one being saved) along with a link to where to manage clips
B) The operation of the page is changed to match the text so that the clip is not saved until the "Publish" button is hit. -

Agreed. As a result of this bug/UX failure it's possible to accidentally and without realising:
* Create clips when using the mouse to return to the stream if you click on the clip button location
* Create clips if you happen to hit Alt+X
* Create clips when you meant to hit theatre mode
* Create clips when you meant to hit settingsAll of these would just be annoying, but this also means that someone can create a clip of a moment they really wouldn't want shared and not even realise that it's saved.
This is worsened as the tab explicitly states that you have to "Title this clip to publish", and the user has neither titled nor hit publish.

Here's the thing.
This doesn't just benefit folks that are trans or non-binary.
It *also* benefits folks that are cis too.
Why?
1. Let's say someone has the display name "RobotDestroyer9001". Do they use he? She? They? I can't tell from that display name, even though they could very well be cis.
2. What about cis people with names that are commonly used by both masculine and feminine folks? Chris, Jamie, Alex, Jordan, Charlie, Ashley, etc.
3. Then there's names which the streamer might not be familiar with because they're from another region. I'm based in the UK, I'm extremely unlikely to know whether a Chinese, Japanese, or Russian name is commonly masculine or feminine.
So, what's the reason not to implement this?
* It benefits trans folk.
* It benefits cis folk.
* It benefits non-binary folk.
* It doesn't benefit... uh... ???
* It hurts... uh... ???
