Absolutely, it should include a link to the specific vod, made private, with time stamps, and link to exactly what ToS rule was violated, with the related text highlighted, and additional text for additional context.
It should also be made public, minus the vod part clearly, when it becomes a controversy/when streamers (the one it's against or others) are misinforming about the situation. Right now, there are a group of Arab streamers that were banned, and either Twitch is showing Arabophobia bias or there is misinformation happening, regardless there are streamers that are committing defamation while using Twitch's actions as evidence. (Granted, I still don't understand how a streamer can say the most vile dehumanizing statements I have ever heard [I as someone who has a US history teacher who as a *** leader], and get less time banned than people who we have no idea what they were banned for, but absolutely nothing as bad as what he did.)

Unluckily, this is a very difficult thing to moderate, when Twitch is already making mistakes over moderating vtubers regarding this, while having obviously more relaxed rules for IRL "pool" streamers.
I think the proper solution is forcing streamers to identify the maturity level of their stream, so parent's can lock their kids accounts to kid friendly (no cursing, no nudity...), teen (mild cursing, no nudity...), adult (no cursing restrictions, only brief nudity/sexual content in games), and explicit adult (no cursing restrictions, no nudity restrictions, only brief sexual content in games, sexual jokes allowed, brief verbal teasing allowed, but no full blown sex scenes/sexual acts by the creators, no prolonged verbal teasing...), and just have the streamers be responsible, and then games can automatically bump up the level to match it's content.
Then creators and advertisers will have to decide the balance of the ecosystem. Publicly show advertiser interests (as a total, not individual advertisers clearly) on what levels to provide ads to, and the equation for ad dollars by level to ad profit to streamers. (OMG, Twitch being transparent? Preventing misinformation and people arguing? What a concept.)
I do understand being more strict with streamers than the medium they are interacting with, and that Twitch doesn't want to become a sexual platform, while okay with brief sexual content, and it needs a scalpel that is clearly defined for moderators, because we are seeing Twitch employees going a bit ham with the rules. Brief by streamers should be publicly defined as a time limit, and for moderators they know the time limit has a buffer time for misjudging time.
Also, twitch's moderators who ***** up on an item should be suspended from making judgments on related items while being required to go through a training course. (This means streamer type [vtuber, IRL...], moderation type [language used, nudity...] and so on), and potentially permanently banned from moderating that specific streamer again.
There are so many layers that have to be figured out, but this absolutely has to be addressed, because restricting the community down to PG content, silencing political commentary, restricting things to appease the radicals that are easily offended will end the existence of Twitch. I can point to tons of websites, tv shows, and all that have ended due to appeasing the easily offended, and none that ignored them.

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

I think it would be worthwhile to identify the difference between an "Account Ban" and an "Enhanced Ban" for mods/streamers, as there are over a dozen different security layers/domains to be able to detect/ban people, some obviously easy to evade (IP bans), while others are difficult to.
What would really help is if email services provided access to email creation date, to finally raise that barrier of entry at least, haha. (It would help with a lot of online abuse behavior)

We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

Given how many people are outraged by this, and the fact that there are dozens of these posts on Android and iOS, 6/10 most upvoted items on here across all topics, with over 3000 unique users clearly upset on this forum, which almost no users know this exists. Then the hundreds of thousands of users upset about this that have mentioned it in streamers' channels, which the majority of people don't both complaining for various reasons but are also upset, making it millions of people...
Probably best to not upset users who are already on the verge of protest due to mistreatment of their content creators on multiple platforms too. Basically, is Twitch trying to challenge YouTube to see which one will cease to exist first?

The fact that they haven't even done this yet, when their stats have to prove this is what people want, because almost everyone that hits that screen immediate presses following...and how almost all of the top voted complaints is related to the new design... Twitch is still trying to push this horrible design and doesn't care to even do this fix...
