I'd love to see a music production category like the game dev category that PirateSoftware suggested that eventually got added. I want to see and talk to people people building tracks in software like FL Studio but they're competing with hundreds of 24/7 music channels or DJs. While I acknowledge that those definitely have an audicence and aren't in themselves a negative, it makes it feel like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack when I'm looking for what I want and probably isn't much more encouraging on the streamer side either.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. there shouldn't be a possible scenario where people are annoyed that, for example, the hype train reached level 100 because they wanted the pogchomp emote.
In fact, people might contribute to the train because they specifically want the pogchomp emote and then feel cheated if that train happens to go past that tier and they already have the KappaInfinite emote. This also means they need to donate *again* in a second hype train to try and get the pogchomp emote.
You shouldn't have to pull the brakes on the hype train just because you're worried you might go to far. Hype trains aren't supposed to be stopped!
