    Just imagine if this happened on live breaking news how many viewers it would turn away. It's an asinine business model that hurts both the user base and twitch.

    I would not be surprised to hear that twitch is way in the red, with the utter lack of competency their staff brings to the table.

    Imagine if you were watching tv and you switched to the channel your show was on, lets say 9:00PM, and right when it started *bam* 2 minute ad. Now try to Imagine how many people would not only just change the channel, but not bother to change it back... Now lets add to this idea and say this was live tv...

    I'm no business major, but even I with my novice abilities can see how f'n stupid that is.

    I don't know what idiots (being extremely nice with this description) twitch is paying that are pushing this and think this is a great idea, but all of them should be fired immediately.

    The incompetence is astounding. Even the link provided by the admin saying 'here's an update', is just an empty link to twitter, instead of the link to the forums with the actual information... which interestingly enough doesn't have preroll mentioned in the FAQ... pardon me while I laugh sarcastically.

    Or racist words like n***** blaring out of my speakers for my children to hear due to dj's song choices and autoplaying the featured list that I have no control of.
