I totally understand how this would help make the chat a better place, especially with page refreshes, or education based streams. It's not like Twitch isn't holding on to all of these messages to train a proper Amazon natural language AI-bot lolz. I wonder how far behind Googs and Tweets they are?

aweee this is cute! Totally approve of this, give us the ability to celebrate within our little communities. :) I already ask my viewers about their birthdays if they are active in chat, i write it down in my calendar and make sure to support them on their big day.

I agree, the 1st founder badge is sooo boring and generic. It would be smart to allow the creators, the people who are adding value & creativity to Twitch, the ability to reward those who have laid down the foundation in our channels. Your move Community Management

We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread. Chat reply is awesome, really helps keep the conversation going and allows the chat to self moderate and add some context to their messages. <3 love this feature. I'd also love to see some type of +1, -1, system to help reward those who are adding valuable thoughts to chat.
Why should I run Mid-rolls, when the feedback from viewers, some of which are other streamers, claim that no one runs mid-rolls.
I want to run the mid-rolls, but watching my view count drop, or getting negative feedback has discouraged me, especially when it feels like its unfair when other streams don't do it.
