This is a very good idea! In the meantime I use the tag "FlashWarning" when I stream old retro games (NES/SNES/GB) because back then they weren't as strict about flashing lights and patterns as they are today. Even if the game I'm playing turns out to not use those effects, it's still nice to have up just in case. The epilepsy warning can be added in the "Content Classification" drop down menu, which is also where the labels for mature rated games, sexual content, etc. are found.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

I just had this happen today. I was streaming Kirby Super Star and the song that plays at the save points in The Great Cave Offensive, "Rest Area", got claimed in the vod by some weirdo named "Marcus D" and titled it "Save Cave Reprise". The actual composers for Kirby Super Star are Jun Ishikawa and Dan Miyakawa. When I went to appeal it, the page wants me to dox myself by providing my name and address which makes me VERY uncomfortable. I wish there was a way to appeal it anonymously. In the meantime I'm going to look for another streaming site that's less aggressive about issuing copyright claims because some random Tiktok mumble rapper used the 19th bar of a song in their video one time and now thinks they're entitled to claiming everyone. :(

Sometimes I stream older/retro games which tend to go heavy on flashing lights and patterns and I'm not always aware of how bad it can get with some games especially if I'm doing a blind playthrough (meaning that I'd have no knowledge beforehand), so an accessibility warning for viewers that are affected by that can really help out!
