    I agree with this as well, there should be an option to choose between this new chatbox and the normal text input for writing in chat.
    It starts to lag pretty bad the stream, the whole page, the longer I stay in a stream, specially when I paste emotes into it (texts also do it too but less). Sometimes it takes 1 second or so for each emote to be added from a copy paste and I have to stay there waiting for it to finish to be able to send the message, even when using a high end computer.
    It really impacts negatively and heavily on the user experience, and more so for those that can't afford a high end computer to watch streams.
