Hi again all,
We have another update regarding Twitch’s Alerts. Now, you can set up integrations with Streamlabs, Throne, Crowd Control, and StreamElements, to bring select third-party events they provide to your Activity Feed to help you recognize all the additional ways your community supports you (such as through tipping, merch purchases, etc.).
Help highlight your community’s contributions and celebrate them all in one place, with your own flair by tapping into the customization options for your Alerts in the Creator Dashboard.

Stream Streak alerts and a Hype Train has ended alert would be fantastic. I'd also love to import alerts from other places where I've set them up.
Really enjoying the Twitch alerts, especially for Channel Redemptions! 💖

When clips are taken from a VOD, it always gets thrown into the category that you started the stream with. Even if you swapped games later in the day.
Especially not good for sponsored streams, as we usually start with "normal" content before heading into sponsored segments. Having a clip from a sponsored segment under a different game is not ideal.

Came here to suggest this same thing, I am testing out the new AD schedule tool and it's been great for getting rid of pre-rolls. My community definitely prefer the occasional break over getting slapped with an AD as they enter.
I'd love to be able to link my bot with a customised message whenever an AD is about to play, or as you said have a pop up on top of the screen. A time that we set it to pre-warn us for!
I'd like to be able to explain in my own words why an AD is about to show, and have some warning in case I'm in the middle of an important chat.
I definitely don't have Stream Manager open much when streaming as I only have two monitors. One for game, one for my SLOBS and as you say, a lot can happen in 5 mins even if it is caught.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

Having the stream disconnect AND start a new VOD (not good for sponsored content especially), really ruins the experience for lurkers and isn't very fun. Especially when we're already having technical issues. I feel like 5 mins would be much more fair on both us Streamers and our Viewers! I so love the reconnecting screen and it's been a life saver many times, but it's not long enough. 💜
