Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

Including follower status as part of chat messages would also make it easier to set up weighted randomization features for raffles/queues to make followers more likely to be selected (rather than having to send additional API requests - especially when subscriber/moderator/broadcaster/etc. status is already known in chat messages).
