An error occurred while saving the comment AngryDemonNoises commentedAnyone reading this, don't waste your time with that clip, it's the same default copypasta response we've heard time and time again: "enough people didn't use it".... when it wasn't even accessible to all partners and affiliates. Everyone who received a moment should be considered using it. Find me one big streamer chat where you don't see moments badges and that streamer didn't specifically say they weren't gonna opt in and actually had access to the program.
The reason Twitch that doesn't want it, is because they don't want permanent clips (which take up server space) to be so easily accessible to everyone.

There are plenty of streamers who didn't have moments and yet many times tried to type /moment and that metric should tell y'all everything you need to know about how much it would've been used
The people driving the removal are probably just salty that others have higher tier badges than them, but it should be twitch's goal to drive constant viewership and not cater to people who can't watch.

His idea was that if users have ~4 active subscriptions then they should receive the benefits of Twitch Turbo (at least as far as ads are concerned). It has never made much sense to me that you can pay $5 to remove ads on one channel, when turbo just allows you to remove ads everywhere (which I feel is actually harmful to content creators)
